graphic design & logos
The online (and offline) image you present is usually the first contact a client has with your business – and we all know that first impressions are very important for your business!
Visual appeal is crucial. Research indicates that people generally decide within three seconds whether your product, website, or brand image appeals to them or not. And long gone are the days of poor quality images and website design. If you want to compete, you need to have a professional and well-presented brand image – both online and offline.
Our Planet Marketing provides graphic design services to ensure you look good at all times.
Do you need help with online graphics or ads for your website or social media? Need a new logo or brand style? New stationery or brochure designed? An advertising campaign developed?
I can assist with graphic design services to develop a range of marketing requirements, from small ‘one-off’ jobs up to large on-going marketing campaigns and brand development.
If you’re starting a new business, or re-branding, creating a new logo is a key step when establishing your brand.
There are a number of considerations to take into account when developing a logo, so getting a logo developed by a professional is definitely recommended. It also ensures you have all the correct file formats needed for various uses, both online and for printing or other purposes.
A professionally developed logo ensures your design compliments your brand strategy and business values.
Developing a logo is done in 4 stages:
- Creating a logo design brief to ensure it reflects your brand and overall business strategy
- Initial concepts and options (usually 3-4 draft concepts) are presented to the client
- Revisions of the preferred options are presented and the final selection is approved by client
- Final logo files are created and file formats are provided to client
In addition, it is recommended to create a “Style Guide” document, which outlines the use of the logo in different applications, and includes any other branding elements (including fonts) to ensure a consistent approach for all your marketing. The Style Guide is particularly important if you have a team or when working with external partners – to ensure the logo and brand elements are used correctly and consistently at all times.
